Cancer and Reproductive Harm — www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. Proposition 65 warnings are intended to inform Californians about exposures to listed chemicals that may cause cancer or reproductive harm, and OEHHA provides official warning guidance and sample formats for businesses.
About this Warning
California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as Proposition 65, requires businesses to provide warnings to California residents about significant exposures to chemicals that the State of California has identified as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The State’s official Proposition 65 materials explain that businesses generally must provide warnings when exposures to listed chemicals may occur, subject to specific legal exceptions.
Scope
AminoTides supplies research-grade chemical compounds intended for in vitro and preclinical research only. Some products offered on this site may contain or, when used, expose users to chemicals included on the State of California’s Proposition 65 list.
